Our client had a patio space that cut off access to the rest of his property and he wished to add a pool and pool house. He was also a devotee of Frank Lloyd Wright and the prairie style of architecture. We took features and style from his interior and brought it outside in the design of this space. The inlays were critical design points as they designated entrances and exits as well as powerful and surprising visual interest. The columns and elongated arbor was designed to hold laser cut screens specifically designed per the homeowner's specifications. The arbor as designed provided a screen from the neighborhood, a focal point from the home's vantage points and a frame for the pool space.
